The Full Story
My name is Jordan Jones. I am the wife of a Marine Corps. vet and pastor as well as the mother of four amazing children. Originally from Ohio, I moved to Mississippi in high school where I met my husband. After graduating, my husband joined the Marines and we spent five years moving as he served. After getting out of the Marines, we moved back to Mississippi where we lived out our dream. In 2018 we started a vegetable farm, Jones Family Farms, where we produced nearly 80 acres of mixed vegetables. However, we soon felt God had different plans for our lives and we both sensed His calling on our lives to the ministry. So we sold the farm and packed up and moved to seminary in New Orleans, LA. After my husband graduated, we moved back to Mississippi where he pastored a church for a season and I stayed home to raise our kids. Soon we felt God moving again in our lives. This time to plant a church in the Pensacola area. So we packed up and moved our family once again to Florida Gulf Coast. Over the course of my life I have moved 14 times. Almost every time we moved, I would spend hours scouring the internet looking for resources that provided real life information about the area we were moving to. It was this most recent move that caused me to realize the need for a "one stop shop." So I created panhandlemove.com to help others, just like me, better understand life on the Florida Gulf Coast.
